Dancing to the tune of the Aruarian Dance…

Aruarian Dance… No, this not the latest dance craze to hit Philippine soil, it doesn’t actually involve any dance step at all. Remember the thing I like about the type of music I listen to that doesn’t really have a lot of words but packs a punch with its beat, this is one of them.
The title of this piece is Aruarian Dance composed and mixed by Nujabes. I picked it out from the anime series called Samurai Champloo. If you listen to it, it really is a catchy piece with the guitars, violins and rhythm and beat mixers, it is absolutely brilliant.
The beauty of this piece is when you actually close your eyes. Aruarian Dance is not just guitar strumming (it was as if it were like some lonesome Spanish soap opera) with hip hop beats, it is actually a sad song with a happy theme, or the other way around. Click the links and listen to it. The thing is that when I listen to it; actually begin seeing positives from a negative occurrence. Although most of the things I have noted down may not affect you in anyway, I just wanted to show you guys what I actually felt “dancing” …

  1. It’s like a haunting tune telling you to be happy even if your heart got broken because you learned to love.
  2. Being happy even someone close to you has passed away because that person lived his life and had a chance to live it with you.
  3. Losing in a competition but happy because you tried your best.
  4. Despite what you see in the mirror is not the best looking one in the world because of your own insecurities, you feel good because you know the person has a pure heart.

My message is just simple, if you feel down and low, listen to this song, you may find out something positive out of your misery. I know I have!
